For us, patient care always comes first. You and your doctors want the best for you and your family. When you or your loved ones' health is in jeopardy, it can be a stressful and anxious time. At AIM Medical Imaging, after your study, you meet with our on-site radiologist (an imaging specialist physician) to review and discuss your results with you. The team of Radiologists at AIM are Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. We will furnish you with a copy of your final dictated report & images prior to your departure.

There is mounting concern over CT radiation. MRI, unlike CT, nuclear medicine, or X-Rays does not use radiation to generate the diagnostic images. Most MRI machines are limited in their full body coverage; however, our new generation full body MRI machine is designed for imaging any part of the entire body, and can effectively replace most CT studies, with better diagnostic detail and with no radiation.
American Residents
AIM Medical Imaging provides full body MRI services for American Residents. Our team can co-ordinate transportation, accommodation or answer any questions regarding your visit to Vancouver. Please contact us if you are interested in a travel package to our centre.
CORPORATE
You may have coverage from your employer to fund your MRI exam. Please enquire with your company.
Corporate Executive Whole Body Screening Packages are available for annual health screenings. If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact us.
HEALTH AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
AIM Medical Imaging provides full diagnostic services for out of town patients. You may have coverage for an exam from your extended medical provider. Please check with your insurance company to determine whether you have appropriate coverage. We require a requisition form from your physician. Our team can co-ordinate transportation, accommodation or answer any questions regarding your visit to Vancouver. Please contact us if you are interested in a travel package to our centre.
LITIGATION – MEDICAL LEGAL
AIM's MRI diagnostic imaging is a powerful tool for those undergoing Litigation or Medical Legal insurance claims. At AIM, an expedited finalized report of the findings and a CD with high resolution images offer a non-bias assessment of any injury.
These services also benefit all parties (claimants, lawyers, insurers, etc.) involved and dramatically hasten the process of resolving a claim. Further, the treating physician and/or specialists are forwarded copies of the final report and CD in a time-conscious manner. Doing so promptly orchestrates a speedy recovery plan for the claimant by their physician and/or specialist. Please feel free to contact our office for additional information.
Work Related Injury (WCB, RCMP)
AIM Medical Imaging provides full body MRI services for workers injured in the work field sustained during the course of employment. The governing body responsible for your injury on behalf of your primary physician/specialists providing your care typically requests these services for you.
